Notes
Notes:
- slight tape problem 6:30 - 6:32 in "Minglewood Blues"
- tape flip near end of "Big River"Just the last few seconds are missing
- "Space" 1:03 - 1:52 patched with schoeps cmc?/mk21 > DAT fob (shnid 3826). The patch has been eq'd so that
it is a closer match to this recording
- the tape was paused during the applause between "Good Lovin'" and "Brokedown Palace", this has been crossfaded
- seamless change between discs
Comments:
- "Truckin' ends with a "Smokestack Lightning" or is it a "Spoonful" tease!

Subject: Smokestack Tease
Anyway, this is probably the best Morning Dew I saw live between 1985 and 1995. It is not an "all-timer" but is easily within a four-star range as is the rest of show. The only major down point, like always (sigh), was the instantaneous deflation of the joyous balloon of energy buoying the Coliseum that occurred during 'Victim Or The Crime'. For a band that mostly avoided proselytizing or preaching, Bobby really screwed the pooch royally on this turkey. Pesky-ass song seemed to follow me like a bad STD. Second to last song before the break is pretty wicked, but not as bad as a second set pre-drums choice. "Victim" was alternatively called "Or The Song That Launched a Million Bad Trips" by me and all my deadhead buddies back during these days. he-he. Bobby "Ace" Weir, jeezus. The rest of the show is top-shelf for this tour.
